The San Diego Plastic Surgery Society (SDPSS) is a group of board-certified plastic surgeons dedicated to promoting education and research in the field of plastic surgery. Initially organized by a small group of plastic surgeons to foster continued education and camaraderie within the San Diego plastic surgery community, the society has grown to over ninety members. It meets regularly and continues to evolve.

All plastic surgeons in the San Diego County region who are members of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) are invited to become active members of the SDPSS. ASPS candidates are welcome to become candidate members, and resident plastic surgeons are welcome at all meetings without the need to formally apply for membership. Retired plastic surgeons are invited to all our dinners and functions.

The SDPSS aims to maintain the highest standards of surgical practice and ethics in plastic surgery in the San Diego area, ensuring the highest quality of reconstructive and cosmetic surgery care for all clients. Our core values include surgical excellence, ethical practice, collegiality, compassion, scholarship, honesty, integrity, and accountability.
